Facilitation Services
Our facilitation services are adapted to fit your needs, ranging from running large public metings to teaching your board and volunteers how to work more effectively. The foundation of every good meeting is set during agenda preparation. We suggest you draft every agenda by, first, compiling a list of the decisions and products you hope to generate: we call it the Let’s Leave With List.
With your agenda built on a solid Let’s Leave With list, you can focus your meetings on what really matters.
As each meeting begins, the Chair proposes a series of agreements to establish how we’ll work together today. Using a Checklist to Set up & Launch a Meeting, we can teach you how to get started and develop good habits on your board and committees – like staying focused and ending on time.
We can also teach you how to manage stressful moments – as the Chair or as a member – calmly, yet firmly. Rather than wield a louder gavel, the key is to remind members of the agreements made to open the meeting.
